500 homes in Aberdeen, containing hazardous Reinforced Autoclaved Aerated Concrete (RAAC), will be demolished and rebuilt at a cost of over £150m. Aberdeen City Council decided on this after a protest over the RAAC-affected homes, which failed to meet Residential Amenity Act standards.
