25% of NHS patients report little to no involvement in discharge decisions, contributing to lowered satisfaction levels.

A recent survey by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) reveals that inadequate hospital discharge procedures are affecting patient satisfaction with NHS care, with 25% of patients reporting little to no involvement in discharge decisions. Patient satisfaction levels are significantly worse than those seen before the Covid-19 pandemic.
