100+ missing after boat sinks in DR Congo's Lukenie River, killing at least 86 in June.

100+ people are missing after a boat sank in the western Democratic Republic of Congo on Sunday. The boat, carrying around 300 passengers, struck submerged debris in the Lukenie River, Mai-Ndombe province. Only a few dozen people have survived, and several bodies have been found. Governor Nkoso Kevani Lebon expressed dismay and promised an investigation into the incident, which follows a similar boat sinking in June that killed at least 86 people, including 21 children.
