Liberia's Foreign Minister Sara Beysolow Nyanti spoke at the UN Peacebuilding Commission, reaffirming the country's commitment to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and emphasizing peacebuilding, transparency, and anti-corruption measures through the ARREST Agenda. Nyanti urged the international community to support Liberia's transitional justice initiatives, including the establishment of a War and Economic Crimes Court (WECC) and social cohesion programs like the National Palava Hut Program and the Women's Peace Huts. Liberia expressed gratitude for the UN Peacebuilding Fund's role in supporting peacebuilding efforts and encouraged ongoing collaboration to build a more peaceful and prosperous nation.
