Kansas Highway Patrol trooper involved in fatal crash while responding to another accident.
A Kansas Highway Patrol trooper responding to a fatal crash on K-23 collided with a southbound SUV, resulting in the SUV's driver's death and injuries to three others. The trooper was operating with emergency lights and siren activated while responding to a two-vehicle collision involving a commercial motor vehicle. The Kansas Highway Patrol Critical Highway Accident Response Team is investigating the incident.
