4,000 hospitality workers at Las Vegas' Venetian and Palazzo resorts reach a tentative union contract with the Culinary Workers Union.

Thousands of hospitality workers at Las Vegas' Venetian and Palazzo resorts have reached a tentative agreement for their first-ever union contract, according to the Culinary Workers Union. The deal involves over 4,000 hotel and casino workers and needs to be approved by the union's rank and file. The terms of the proposed contract have not yet been released, and the Venetian and Palazzo have not yet commented on the agreement. The deal follows several other contracts signed by the Culinary Union with other casino giants, which led to an average $35 hourly wage increase and improved working conditions for employees.
