Calgary plans $1.13M water main repair along 33rd Ave N.W., with Stage 4 outdoor water restrictions from Aug 26 to Sep 23.

Calgary plans to repair its most critical water main along 33rd Avenue N.W., with 13 of the 21 needed repairs occurring along this stretch. The $1.13 million Main Streets Business Support Grant program, providing economic relief to businesses disrupted by city-led construction projects, may be extended, as the CFIB warns that further water restriction stages could strain businesses even more. Residents can expect Stage 4 outdoor water restrictions from August 26 to September 23, during which time the Bearspaw south feeder main repairs will take place.
