Beyoncé launches American whiskey brand SirDavis, named after her great-grandfather, in collaboration with LVMH's Moët Hennessy.
Beyoncé has launched a new American whiskey brand called SirDavis, in collaboration with luxury goods conglomerate LVMH's Moët Hennessy. The whiskey line is named after Beyoncé's great-grandfather, Davis Hogue, who was a farmer and moonshiner during the Prohibition era. The brand aims to pay homage to her family's history while expanding LVMH's presence in the American whiskey market. Crafted and bottled in Texas, SirDavis is the first spirit brand developed by Moët Hennessy entirely in the U.S. Retailing for $89 a bottle, the whiskey will be available in September.
