Australian Meteoric Resources and Canadian Ucore Rare Metals sign deal for Meteoric to supply 3,000MT of rare earth oxide annually from its Brazilian project to Ucore's Louisiana facility.

Australian firm Meteoric Resources and Canada's Ucore Rare Metals signed an agreement for Meteoric to supply 3,000 metric tons of rare-earth oxide from its Brazilian Caldeira project to Ucore's Louisiana Strategic Metals Complex. The deal aims for a binding definitive agreement for Meteoric's mixed rare earth carbonate (MREC) supply. Ucore plans to purchase a minimum quantity of 3,000MT of total rare earth oxide (TREO) annually, representing neodymium and praseodymium, terbium, and dysprosium. Both parties expect Meteoric to obtain a construction permit by Q4-2025 and commence MREC production in the second half of 2027.
