In August 2024 COE bidding, Category A & B COEs (for smaller and larger vehicles) saw price drops, while Category C (goods vehicles, buses) rose by $1,300 and Category D (motorcycles) decreased by $291. Category E, open to all vehicles except motorcycles, increased by $762. Despite slight COE drops for Categories A and B, demand for new cars remained strong.
