80 individuals, including 40 gang members, were arrested by Horry County Police over two weeks, following a surge in violent crime along S.C. 9. The arrested were linked to murders, attempted murders, drive-by shootings, home invasions, auto thefts, and carjackings. Horry County collaborated with federal and state law enforcement divisions, seizing 58 weapons and various amounts of methamphetamine, fentanyl, cocaine, and crack cocaine.
