94-year-old Roy Gillian, founder of iconic Jersey Shore amusement pier, Gillian's Wonderland Pier in Ocean City, NJ, and former mayor (1986-1990), passed away at home on August 17th, 2024. Gillian's Wonderland Pier is set to close at the end of the season. The amusement park mogul is survived by his wife, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, and memorial contributions can be made to Shore Medical Center in his memory.
