42-year-old Horacio Luna-Perez, Oregon drug trafficker, has been sentenced to eight years and one month in federal prison for leading an operation distributing methamphetamine, heroin, and fentanyl throughout Portland and Eastern Washington. His organization was connected to a Mexico-based drug cartel. Alongside Luna-Perez, Jesus Miramontes-Castaneda led a separate trafficking ring in Portland and Salem. The DEA, alongside local agencies, collaborated on the investigation.
