137 small-breed dogs rescued from distressing home, 40 healthy dogs available for adoption at Winnipeg Humane Society.

137 small-breed dogs rescued from a distressing home north of Winnipeg are now under the care of the Winnipeg Humane Society (WHS). After two weeks, around 40 healthy, older dogs are available for adoption, with the rest set for neutering or spaying, or transfer to partner rescues. Adoptions will be on a first-come, first-served basis. The WHS urges efforts against backyard breeders and puppy mills.
