New Mexico State University has announced five finalists for the university president position, chosen after a nationwide search. Finalists include: 1. Valerio Ferme, Executive VP for Academic Affairs and Provost, University of Cincinnati 2. Brian Haynes, Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs, University of California, Riverside 3. Monica Lounsbery, Dean of College of Health and Human Services, California State University, Long Beach 4. Neil MacKinnon, Professor at School of Public Health, Augusta University 5. Arsenio Romero, Secretary of Public Education, State of New Mexico Campus visits and forums will be held in early September for the public to hear candidates' vision for NMSU.
