Maui's Central East Little League team lost a close game 3-2 to Nevada's Mountain Region champions in the Little League World Series. Despite out-hitting their opponents, Maui couldn't secure victory. They will face Pennsylvania's Mid-Atlantic Region champions in their next match, with ace pitcher Evan Tavares available for Tuesday's game.
