5,500m of the Cliffs of Moher trail in Ireland will close from 22 Aug due to two fatal accidents. Safety enhancement works will be accelerated to ensure walker safety. The future reopening of the closed trail sections will depend on agreements between landowners and Clare County Council. Emergency services will still have access to the closed sections.
