Indian firm Optiemus partners with Tejas Networks to manufacture telecom equipment in line with the government's push for domestic production.

Indian electronics firm Optiemus has entered the telecom equipment manufacturing industry, partnering with Tata Group's Tejas Networks. This move aligns with the government's push for indigenous designing and manufacturing of telecom equipment. Optiemus is utilizing Tejas Networks as a manufacturing partner to produce a wide range of telecom equipment products including 4G baseband units, remote radio heads, ONTs/ONUs, broadband switches, and routers at its Noida manufacturing facility. This venture supports India's ongoing efforts to become self-reliant in designing and manufacturing telecom equipment and aims to significantly enhance the domestic manufacturing capabilities of telecom equipment.
