CRISIL Ratings predicts a 7-10% decline in AUM for Indian ARCs by 2025 due to fewer acquisitions and competition from NARCL.

CRISIL Ratings predicts a 7-10% decline in assets under management (AUM) for private asset reconstruction companies (ARCs) in India by fiscal year 2025, largely due to fewer acquisitions and increased competition from the government-backed National Asset Reconstruction Co Ltd (NARCL). AUM is expected to decrease from Rs 1.35 trillion in the previous fiscal year to ₹1.2-1.25 trillion by fiscal year 2025. However, opportunities remain for ARCs to tap both corporate and retail assets.
