Alimentation Couche-Tard acquires 270 GetGo convenience stores from Giant Eagle Inc.
Alimentation Couche-Tard, the parent company of Circle K convenience-stores brand, has reached a definitive agreement to acquire GetGo Café + Markets convenience stores from supermarket retailer Giant Eagle Inc. The acquisition adds approximately 270 locations to Couche-Tard's portfolio and is subject to standard regulatory approvals. The deal is expected to close in 2025, and the financial terms have not been disclosed. Couche-Tard and Giant Eagle will maintain and partner together on Giant Eagle's myPerks loyalty program.
