Amazon MGM Studios is developing a TV series adaptation of the 1982 horror movie Poltergeist, following in the footsteps of popular horror series like The Walking Dead and Supernatural. The upcoming Poltergeist TV series, set within the film's universe, will be led by showrunners and executive producers Kalinda Vazquez and Robbie Thompson, with plot details yet to be revealed. The series will be executive produced for Amblin Television by Darryl Frank and Justin Falvey.
