49-year-old woman from Elsternwick faces multiple charges after allegedly speeding at 111 km/h in a St Kilda school zone while under the influence of methamphetamine. Victoria Police detected the vehicle on August 16 during speed checks outside a primary school on Brighton Road. The woman's vehicle was impounded and she will face charges of dangerous driving, driving under the influence, and driving with a suspended license. First-time drug driving offenders in Victoria face fines of up to $2,371, while speeding by 45 km/h or more attracts a $3,952 fine.
