35-year-old online gambling debtor arrested for murdering 74-year-old and stealing gold in Thane, Maharashtra.

35-year-old online gambling addict Abhimanyu Gupta was arrested in Thane district, Maharashtra for murdering 74-year-old Sevamary Augustin Nadar to steal her gold ornaments and set her house on fire. Gupta, who owed over Rs. 2 lakh in gambling debts, had worked at the victim's son's dairy and was acquainted with the family. He was charged with murder and other offences.
