Politicians from New Zealand's major parties will attend the Māori King's Koroneihana ceremony, marking the 18th anniversary of King Tuheitia's coronation. The event provides an opportunity for politicians to discuss challenges faced by Māori and listen to the Kīngitanga. Despite Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern declining the invitation, other leading politicians, including Prime Minister Christopher Luxon and Opposition leader Chris Hipkins, will be present.
