3rd-gen electrolysis tech provider Next Hydrogen Solutions partners with U of Minnesota, backed by US DoE's ARPA-E, for a 2025 operational renewable energy ammonia project.

Next Hydrogen Solutions, an electrolyzer designer & manufacturer, will provide its 3rd-gen electrolysis tech to a renewable energy ammonia production project led by the University of Minnesota, backed by the US DoE’s ARPA-E. The tech, featuring improvements in energy efficiency, current density, and operating pressure, aims to produce hydrogen from intermittent energy sources like wind and solar. The project is set to become operational in 2025 and involves partners like RTI International, Casale, and multiple energy companies.
