NZCAST launches "Healing Pathways Wananga," a survivor-led recovery program for state care survivors.

NZCAST, New Zealand's Collective of Abused in State Care, has launched "Healing Pathways Wananga," a novel program for state care survivors. The initiative offers a coherent recovery program, integrating therapy, cultural education, and life skills training. It is survivor-led and addresses participants' specific needs, such as cultural reconnection and skill development. By improving individual lives, it also aims to positively impact community health and reduce long-term costs.
