New South Wales (NSW) has initiated a parliamentary inquiry into the poor conditions of public toilets across the state, led by Greens MP Dr. Amanda Cohn. The inquiry, which began on August 15, will focus on design and accessibility, maintenance, regulation, and funding of public toilets. It will also investigate access to period products and examine best practices for design, including single-stall facilities with full-height doors. Submissions for the inquiry can be made through the NSW parliamentary website by November 1.
