Nigerian House of Representatives urges AMCON to aggressively recover N5 trillion owed, disregarding debtors' status.

Nigerian House of Representatives Committee on Banking & Ancillary Institutions Chairman, Eze Nwachukwu Eze, urged AMCON to aggressively pursue debt recovery, disregarding debtors' social status. AMCON aims to recover nearly N5 trillion ($11.2 billion) owed to it. Eze emphasized that AMCON must not be deterred by the personality or position of any obligor when enforcing on their assets. The success of AMCON's debt recovery relies on the collaboration of all stakeholders, including the government, financial institutions, regulatory bodies, security agencies, and the private sector.
