Killeen police are investigating a serious auto-pedestrian accident on 8/18/24 at 4:15 a.m. on S Fort Hood Rd, where a male pedestrian was struck by a black Chevy SUV turning left on W Elms Rd. The pedestrian, not crossing at a lit intersection and wearing dark clothes, was critically injured and airlifted. Driver and passengers reported no injuries. The investigation continues.
