Malawi receives $11.2M insurance payout from African Development Bank and African Risk Capacity Group for El Nino-linked drought disaster. The funds will support food assistance and cash transfers to affected households in Southern, Central regions, and Lower Shire. Drought has also led to states of disaster in Zambia, Zimbabwe, and Mozambique, with more payouts expected by September.
