Los Angeles Angels may replace injured José Soriano with Reid Detmers, who had a strong Triple-A performance with 11 strikeouts in 8 innings. Manager Ron Washington hasn't announced a decision, and Sam Bachman is another potential candidate. Victor Mederos has been recalled, but his ERA is 6.56 this season. Detmers' ERA in Triple-A is 6.37.
