Koenigsegg Jesko Attack broke the Laguna Seca production car record with a lap time of 1:24.86.
Koenigsegg's Jesko Attack became the fastest production car at Laguna Seca Raceway in California, completing a lap at 1:24.86, surpassing the previous record holder, the Czinger 21C. The Jesko Attack, driven by Koenigsegg test driver Markus Lundh, features a twin-turbocharged 5.0-liter V8 engine that generates 1,280 horsepower and 1,106 pound-feet of torque, with the capacity to reach 1,600 horsepower when running on E85 fuel. The hypercar's high-downforce version has a massive rear wing and a large carbon fiber front splitter, generating up to 3,086 pounds of downforce at top speed.
