King Charles III inspected the Balaklava Company at Balmoral Castle during his summer break.
King Charles III began his summer break at Balmoral Castle in Scotland, inspecting the Balaklava Company, 5th Battalion, The Royal Regiment of Scotland in a small ceremony. He was accompanied by the Royal Regiment's mascot, Shetland Pony Corporal Cruachan IV, who previously bit Prince Harry's fingers during a 2018 visit. The King's visit follows the recent opening of Balmoral for public tours and comes after he returned to public duties amid cancer treatment.
