300-hectare wildfire in Frontignan, France, prompts evacuations and mobilizes 600 firefighters.

Wildfires in the southwestern French town of Frontignan forced the evacuation of dozens of residents, burning 300 hectares of land near the A9 highway and moving towards the Gardiole mountains. Authorities deployed 600 firefighters, 11 water bombers, and two helicopters to contain the blaze. The town's local emergency plan was activated, streets were closed, and evacuees were housed in a sports hall. The strong winds make it difficult for responders to predict the fire's direction.
