A double semi-truck crash on US-6 in Spanish Fork Canyon led to a 6,000-gallon fuel spill and highway closure for several hours. The incident occurred about a mile west of Thistle and resulted in one person being hospitalized with minor injuries. Cleanup efforts took five hours, and traffic was diverted onto US-89.
