Dutch firm Van Lanschot Kempen purchased a 60-hectare apple orchard in Central Hawke's Bay, NZ for $5.75M, their first in the region. The investment aims to boost New Zealand's horticulture industry through increased jobs, productivity, export receipts, and capital expenditure. This follows a series of significant apple orchard sales in the region, which has been recovering from Cyclone Gabrielle flood damage.
