6,700 Central Maine Power customers in Lewiston-Auburn experienced a power outage after a forklift stolen from a construction site crashed into power lines. CMP restored power to 5,500 customers within 10 minutes, and the remaining 1,200 regained electricity by 10 a.m. the next day. The Auburn Police Department is investigating the incident, involving an unidentified subject or subjects.
