Bangladesh High Court petition seeks to ban Awami League party, cancel its registration, and implement reforms.

A writ petition has been filed in Bangladesh's High Court requesting the ban of the Bangladesh Awami League due to mass killings, cancellation of its registration as a political party, renaming of institutions named after former PM Sheikh Hasina, a three-year term for the interim government to implement reforms, and transfer of all contractual appointments made during the previous AL government. The case is set to be heard by Justices A K M Asaduzzaman and Muhammad Mahbub Ul Islam.
