"All Creatures Great and Small" actor Callum Woodhouse's character Tristan Farnon returns in series 5 after leaving for war.

Tristan Farnon, played by Callum Woodhouse, will return to "All Creatures Great and Small" after leaving at the end of series three to fight in the war. The show has been renewed for two more series, with the upcoming seasons seeing Tristan rejoin his brother Siegfried Farnon and best friend James Herriot in Darrowby. The popular period drama, based on the book series by James Herriot and set in the 1940s, is set to return for its fifth series this autumn, featuring returning cast members Nicholas Ralph, Samuel West, and Rachel Shenton.
