30-year-old Megan S. Persiani from Union Grove, Alabama was tragically killed after being hit by a car on U.S. 231 near Staid Road. The accident occurred on August 16, and the driver of the car, a 32-year-old, was taken to Huntsville Hospital for treatment. The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency is currently investigating the incident.
