60-year-old man from Flinders Island dies after being hit by police car in Lady Barron.
60-year-old man from Lackrana, Flinders Island, died on Saturday night after being hit by a police car driven by an on-duty officer in Lady Barron at 9pm. The officer was uninjured. Tasmania Police offered wellbeing support to those affected and initiated a full Professional Standards investigation. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the police.
