South Korean AI chip companies Rebellions Inc and Sapeon Korea Inc have agreed to merge, aiming to challenge global AI chip leaders like Nvidia. Sapeon's shareholders include SK Telecom and SK Hynix, while Rebellions received $15m from Wa'ed Ventures, bringing its total funding to over $225m. The merger is expected to create a stronger competitor in the AI chip market.
