First NASCAR Cup Series event at the track since 1971, held on February 2, 2025; the track is known as "The Madhouse" for its heated moments. NASCAR Studios and FOX Sports Films are producing a documentary, "The Madhouse: NASCAR's Return to Bowman Gray Stadium," set to premiere on FS1.
