NUTP President Aminuddin Awang praises Malaysia's new Public Service Remuneration System (SSPA) as a significant improvement for teachers facing challenges in their profession and rising cost of living. SSPA, replacing the Malaysian Remuneration Scheme (SSM), aims to address early retirements among teachers and motivate them with the phased implementation starting in December. The PM's announcement includes 15% and 7% salary adjustments for respective civil servant groups.
