7 killed, 8 injured in Quezon province accident; van driver dozed off, swerved into truck's lane.

7 people, including a 2-year-old, died and 8 others were injured in a collision between a passenger van and a delivery truck in Quezon province, south of Manila. The van driver, who reportedly dozed off, caused the van to swerve into the oncoming truck's lane. The van driver died, while the truck driver sustained severe injuries. Authorities continue to investigate.
