Aboriginal mother Rebecca Sogal found support and connection through a call to Perinatal Anxiety and Depression Australia (PANDA) after feeling isolated and disconnected from her culture. Since June 2022, there's been a 3% rise in calls from First Nations people to PANDA, with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people accounting for 5% of calls. PANDA's helpline offers support, counselling, and information to parents and families, while also raising awareness of perinatal mental health.
