Ghana's NHIA disburses GH¢286.6 million to settle outstanding healthcare provider claims.

The National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA) in Ghana disbursed GH¢151 million to healthcare providers, adding to an earlier GH¢135.6 million release. This funding is to settle outstanding claims for higher-tier providers up to March 2024 and lower-tier facilities up to April 2024. NHIA CEO, Dr Da-Costa Aboagye, affirms their dedication to a sustainable, efficient system through ongoing stakeholder engagement.
