A fire threatened historic SS South Steyne, a former Manly ferry, at Sydney Harbour's Berrys Bay. Firefighters, aided by a Port Authority of NSW tugboat, contained the blaze on an old works barge near the heritage-listed vessel, which has been moored in the bay for eight years. Police have established a crime scene.
