Devizes Carnival, themed "Home is Where the Heart is", is set to take place on August 31, saved by £10k raised by town's residents. The event was in danger due to funding loss but public donations, including £3k from an anonymous donor, allow organizers, DOCA, to run the carnival without depleting reserves.
