Canadian angler Chris Johnston won the Bassmaster Elite Series overall title and angler-of-the-year honours.
Canadian angler Chris Johnston made history as the first Canadian to win the Bassmaster Elite Series overall title and angler-of-the-year honours, securing the top position with 758 points. He also won the 2020 Elite Series title on the St. Lawrence River. Brother Cory Johnston, also a professional angler, finished second with 77 pounds, five ounces. Chris and Cory Johnston are the first Canadians to compete in two Elite Series events.
